The perfect testing machine for fatigue tests under temperature
Standard versions of the HA series fatigue testing machines in the 50 to 500 kN range have the testing actuator mounted in the lower crosshead, below the test area. They are ideal for test arrangements that require temperature chambers or furnaces to be installed in the test area. The positioning of the actuator prevents heated air from rising and causing heating of the actuator; it also prevents oil from dripping into the heated test area.
The HA load frames can, for example, be used for LCF (low cycle fatigue) tests or high cycle fatigue tests.
The HA fatigue testing machine's test frame features extremely high stiffness, resulting in natural resonance. Extremely accurate alignment of load frames avoids unwanted flexural stresses in the specimen
The final element in our dynamic testing product portfolio is the manufacture of all the necessary accessories such as hydraulic power packs, servohydraulic testing actuators, or hydraulic distribution units. Our portfolio is constantly being expanded through a program of continuous development and inclusion of new products, allowing us to satisfy our customer’s most demanding quality requirements while continually improving the quality of our products.

Common fatigue tests
Materials and components may fail prematurely under oscillating loads. For this reason, the behavior of materials under alternating mechanical loading is an important decision criterion, for which the necessary data are obtained through testing.
There are two categories of fatigue in materials testing:
